Taking to the floor with the wheel to the sky, i loosen my tie.........

So, Friday night the Blonde and I headed out on our own to sample the delights of 'Ladies Night' a concept that could only happen here!!! In a nutshell, every bar/club provides the ladies with FREE drinks - disaster!!! We did, at the start of the evening look like ladies!!!! however, 3 free cosmopolitans at the first bar and I was already seeing double!! Feeling like we were staring as the lead roles in a bad remake of Gulliver's Travels we decide to leave the land of the vertically challenged and try a club that offers free champagne all night!! (and a good vintage at that!) Much dancing and torturing of the little people ensued until we both could no longer stand!! we finally left the club looking more like night walkers!!

We all spent a day at the beach today, really lovely and not too hot! Ramadan is over and it was a public holiday today. I'm painting the most difficult canvas at the moment and have nearly given up!! Going to try one more time tomorrow! xx

Get back on track, pick me up some bottles of booze......

I got Punk'd today by a lil' monkey!! Made me laugh, but boy revenge will be sweet!!! I finished the painting!!!!!! Nothing much else going down in this town tonight, 'Ramadan Kareem' an' all that! No more horror movies though!! Looks like a night of glamourisation is required xx

the scent of a lemon drips from your eyes.........

Nearly finished the painting, just got some of the face and the background to do, phew it was a tough one! Did a boot camp workout at the gym today! Order your advance copies of Sports Illustrated now :)

The Blonde cooked dinner tonight (Yep she cooks too!) and then we watched a horror movie!!!! Any need? I know!!! However, seeing a 6 ft Brazilian hiding behind the sofa was priceless! I think I need to rename him 'Mastercard'. So, we finish the movie and the Brazilian decides to go into the front room (the one the spirit is occupying) and no word of a lie, he switches the light on and...........the power blows!!!!!! ARGGGH!!! I had to peel him of the ceiling!!! The area has now been forensically cleaned and a 'Do not disturb' sign hangs from the door - We have entered the Twilight Zone.................xx

6 am, 40°C! Went for a walk along the beach, shame the sea is still so hot! 

Back home now and about to carry on painting :) ! The Brazilian bought a load of Horror movies last night, great!! The Blonde had a car crash yesterday! She's fine, classic roundabout accident where the other car was in the wrong lane! (standard driving for here!) I think we need to cheer her up, she needs a little bit of fabulousity. This afternoon, off to drag the Brazilian to an acting society - he needs to get rid of some excess emotion!!!!!!!

I worked all night and all today on my website, nearly finished :)!! Looks good, let me know what you think.
Not much to report today, SCH has flown to Singapore on business - very glamorous! The Brazilian is in a sombre mood! and the Blonde is completely addicted to watching True Blood (Alexander Skarsgard- yum yum!) So, all that is left for me to do is hit the gym :( (I must, I must, I must improve my.........)

Hey there!,
Well our dear friend Jose came over last night..........We skipped dinner (bad idea) and went to the Buddha Bar which was bizarre because they cannot play music, so zero atmosphere! Anyway the evening resulted in 3 separate cab rides home!!!! SCH threw up on route home!! I left with the Blonde and chatted utter bolxxks for the entire journey. Oh and the Brazilian is STILL with Jose!!!!!!

On a positive note, I slept fine!!!!!!! - no noises :)

the spirit lives on.........

Hi, so the blonde didn't sleep last night!! her photo frame fell of the wall and spooked her. Tonight the SCH has seen something walk past the living room - again!! jesus this is getting ridiculous!! The Brazilian is loosing weight rapidly now, tra la :) I have been working for the past 10 hours on my website, such a dork with computers :( but getting there, slowly, slowly catch the monkey!

i remember

So today I hung a painting that I finished last week, it's titled 'i remember' the inspiration for this one was a high end shop and a pair of funky high tops! - go figure! It reminds me of a happy time :)

As for the mad house, three out of the four of us living here have now seen the ghost!!! - yup! The Braziian saw it in the front room but says he will ignore it. The Stressed Corporate Head thinks it's hysterical that the ghost walked past him whilst he was eating breakfast! I have seen something twice now and keep telling it to go to the light!!! Any need??? We all knocked back a few vodkas tonight to ensure a deep sleep! The Blonde is watching SATC to calm her nerves. Happy, happy, joy,joy!!

Buddha

I'm exhausted! Painted like a women possessed yesterday and today! Decided on a Buddha theme in the end. Would like to do a huge canvas like this one in the same dark colours.
Anyway I'm off to the pool to chill out for an hour. The Blonde arrives home tonight so there will be lots to catch up on. Stressed corporate head has seen the light and is finally playing the game :). The Brazilian is suspiciously quiet today - something is brewing!!!

never give up!

Good morning!!!
No peace and quiet for me today! The stressed corporate head is working from home, the phone never stops ringing! A small blessing though in that the Brazilian has gone to the gym :)
I finished a painting last night, it will be a gift for a friend and is titled 'never give up'. As the great Brain Badonde would say "it's tryptic" a painting comprising of three canvas placed together to make one.

The painting represents the journey back to recovery and beauty after a battle with cancer.
So, for the rest of today I've been commissioned to do another canvas this time the theme is 'Zen', God knows what I'll come up with as I live in a mad house with a drink problem surrounded by sand!!!!
